After a short stint she realized she finally found her calling and that was it, she was hooked. She obtained her dog training certification from Animal Behavior College and has not stopped furthering her education since.
Certified Pet Dog Trainer & Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer

Although the field of dog training is largely unregulated without education or licensure requirements, Elly has chosen to affiliate herself with only accredited organizations dedicated to humane, science-based dog training practices. She is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and a Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP). In 2021, Elly obtained her Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) from Malena DeMartini’s world renowned program and leader in the field for Separation Anxiety. Stated in a newsletter by The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior “CSATs are one of the best resources because they are truly experts in this behavior issue”.
Why Positive Reinforcement?
Science and studies have repeatedly shown that harsh, aversive methods are not needed to train your dog. In fact, using such methods can cause increased anxiety, fear-related aggression and can damage the human-animal bond. Elly is a skilled professional who understands canine body language and how to implement scientific principles to positively influence and change behavior. This ensures Elly a path to safely and kindly change your pets behavior without compromising their welfare.
Learn why positive reinforcement training is the way to go.
Leading organizations within the world regarding canine behavior have made a stance that science based, humane training practices should be the standard and any form of pain, force or intimidation is unnecessary and potentially harmful. These leadership organizations include the American Veterinary Association of Animal Behavior, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the Humane Society just to name a few.
